These leaders are compliant with the new 2019 Shark Fishing laws of
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
and
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
The hooks used on this rig are "non-stainless steel" and "non-offset"
Alright, here it is. This is the leader I use when I am running my baits out in my kayak. You will not be disappointed with this leader, I promise. I am really excited that I get to share these with all of my fellow shark fishermen. I use the highest quality materials because this is how I make them for myself and I hate getting broke off. These leaders should be able to handle any fish out there.
I did make these leaders a little different from the ones I use. Some people prefer a fixed weight so I added a loose crimp on the leader. If you want a fixed weight, just push the sliding swivel all the way to the end of the leader closest to the hook and use a pair of pliers to crush the crimp into place. If you decide that you want a sliding weight, just leave it as it is.
All of the hardware on these leaders are premium materials. The 20/0 circle hooks are not the ones that are known to bend open when you're on a big shark ( I'm not going to mention that name brand but I surely don't use them on these leaders).
