This lightweight fly line is designed with small waters and small trout in mind. Wading in a stream hidden in the woods, chasing for the beautiful native browns has its charm. The intimacy, the serenity, the man-nature harmony are all what fly-fishmen cherish.
However, in a place like this, a full-fledged overhead casting is often difficult, sometimes we have to resort to the so-called "bow-and-arrow casting". To facilitate this, this line concentrates the weight of the head in the front, in fact, most of the head weight is in the first 15 feet. So that when you grab and pull back the line, the line outside of the tip guide has enough weight to shoot out and turn over the fly or the nymphing rig.
When an overhead cast is in order, the short-head design of this line makes it ideal for delivering power to the leader, loading the rod faster, and easier to shoot line.
Other features include: Dual-color coating makes it clear to see where the head is. Two welded loops in the front and back for easy rigging. Shorter overall length (75 ft) to fit on small fly reels and reduce weight.
