Scientific Anglers have marked each of their premium SA ID lines with small printing near the front end of the fly line so you can see exactly what line you have on any one of your spare spools that you may or may not have used lately. This system eliminates confusion over similar-looking lines on similar spools, and eliminates the possibility of those old stickers ever gumming up your reel again. Wonder if a shooting head is 200 grain or a 300? Just look at the SA ID.
