    Description

    This is a 40' coil of
    straightened
    medical grade .023" superelastic nitinol wire manufactured in the US. It has a shiny natural black oxide and performs very well as terminal tackle leader material in salt or freshwater for toothy fish...can also be used to make popping bobbers.  It will stretch and recover when struck and is kink and bite resistant.  This wire is
    springier than the lighter weight wire
    and is intended to be crimped instead of tied...various methods are available on YouTube.  We test both ends of the coil to verify ultimate tensile strength at our facility before shipping.  Compare it to "titanium leader wire" being sold by the large sporting goods companies at more than twice the price per foot...other weights available.
